We are the Entertainment Service Platform team, part of the newly formed eLive team that is chartered with creating a "Connected Entertainment" experience through services that span multiple devices such as Xbox, Zune, PCs and mobile phones. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who demonstrates broad creative thinking as well as disciplined execution.
If you take on this challenge, you will be expected to help chart the future vision for the identity and social network foundations pioneered with our Xbox Live platform. You will define the innovations in the online community that can differentiate eLive entertainment services, drive end user passion, and add significant business value. Most importantly, you will deliver on this vision over the next few years as Microsoft expands its leadership role in gaming, video, and music. You will work across teams in E&D to evangelize features and influence client teams while also creating detailed functional specifications for approved feature innovations, and working closely with design, development and test teams to drive execution of these features.
The ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager in building and shipping consumer facing products across multiple product cycles
Creativity, cross-group coordination skills and the ability to proactively drive initiatives.
Great problem solving skills and high intellectual horsepower
Strong passion for media and entertainment
Practical knowledge of video/game/music technologies and social networks
Background in service development
A BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering and/or equivalent industry experience is preferred
