The Device Development and eXperience Debugger test team is looking for a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test dedicated to shipping high-quality, secure and innovative development environment to our OEM and ISV customers. This is a great opportunity to work with cutting edge mobile devices, and the latest Windows desktop development tools, like Visual Studio and Platform Builder. In addition to the opportunity to connect with our internal and external development communities, you will take on a challenging role to lead a team of testers to implement and oversee the testing strategy of the kernel debugger.
Primary responsibilities include
Work with development and program management teams to help develop and test features that provide extended development capabilities for the next version of Windows Mobile.
Leading a team of SDET/Ts through all stages of product development cycles
Hiring strong SDETs
Mentoring and fostering individual contributor career growth
Architect and implement test strategy, test plans, tools and infrastructure to provide maximum test coverage with least amount of effort
Drive cross group collaboration within the Windows Device Core teams
Oversee the development of automated testing frameworks to increase our ability to test deep kernel level debugging
The successful candidate will have strong skills in the following:
Design and coding skills in C++/C#
Test experience

This position is opened for experienced people managers but experienced individual contributors with strong potential people management skills are also strong candidates. Windows Mobile experience is desired but not required.
