Position Description
As a member of the MDS National Team 'S', conducts technical analyses of existing and potential Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) elements and architectures in support of the definition and development of overall system requirements and required component functionalities. Emphasis will be on the quantification of the existing and proposed BMDS counter countermeasure capability. Uses, develops and refines MATLAB based system level models and simulations. Coordinates technical work with task lead and other analysts. Strong technical ability. Experience or working knowledge of the development of analytical tools and numerical modeling of complex systems using MATLAB or a similar computing environment. Strong communication skills, with ability to write technical briefings. SECRET security clearance. Ballistic missile defense experience, including discrimination, radars, kill vehicles and infra-red sensors. Strong coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities. Familiarity with BMDS threat generation and selection.Top Secret clearance desired.

Requires educational credentials meeting the Boeing classification standards for engineers and typically 14 to 19 years' experience in an engineering classification or educational credentials meeting the Boeing classification standards for engineers and either a Master's degree with 12 to 17 years' experience or a PhD degree with 9 to 14 years' experience in an engineering classification.
