Solicit residential loan applications by traveling throughout the region; meet with customers; take complete applications and gather all documentation and information required for loan program. Ability to travel 60% or more to various locations within the region.
1. Meet with customers, identify their needs and take residential loan applications by traveling throughout the region. 2. Originate loans: solicit business from real estate agents, bank branch offices, builders and others who can refer residential loan customers. 3. Provide all compliance disclosures required at application. 4. Monitor the processing of customer's loans through the closing process; work with loan processor to coordinate the collection of all information necessary to ensure completeness of loan files. 5. Cross-sell customers to Colonial Bank's other products and services. 6. Attend work on a regular basis, on time, and withstand varying degrees of stress.
High school graduate or equivalent required. Two plus years mortgage banking experience. Strong knowledge of loan products, compliance requirements, and underwriting guidelines. Ability to analyze credit statements. Valid state driver's license, proof of insurance, acceptable driving record and available transportation.
