Join our vibrant, growing financial publishing & education business as a Senior Sales Account Executive. Leverage our partners to drive value for our customers and business as we educate, amuse, and enrich individual investors.
Successful applicants will have a proven track record of successfully achieving and exceeding goals throughonline advertising sales . You will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and cultivating online advertising partnerships and driving $1-3MM of advertising revenues on an annual basis. This role will require regular travel. You will be provided with existing accounts to start, but will be expected to generate a large majority of your sales through self-generated leads.
Primary Responsibilities/Objectives
Generate online ad and partnership sales revenue for the Fool each month.
Identify and target new potential online advertising partners
Contact (e-mail, letter, phone, etc.) potential online advertisers, and turn them into partners
Gain intense knowledge of partners and relevant industries
Serve as relationship manager for multiple large and small advertising accounts
1-2 weeks of travel per month to visit existing and potential partners
Work with all levels of client and advertising agency decision makers and influencers
Build relationships with client and ad agencies with the goal of enhancing relationships, building new clients and opportunities, and producing revenue on a consistent, quarterly basis to meet and exceed revenue goal targets
Evaluate client needs and work with the Fool team to develop appropriate solutions
Related Responsibilities/Objectives
Develop strong relationships with internal constituents in marketing, editorial, and Consumer Services to meet customer needs
Provide “market” feedback to relevant groups within the Fool
Ensure that the Fool meets its contractual obligations
Ensure that billing is done on time and correctly
Keep abreast of advertising's technical and content issues
Ensure advertisers pay on time
Share the wealth through peer training
Additional Tasks:
Joint field sales work based on demand and experience level of the AE
Ongoing communication/coordination with support team to constantly improve our sales "process"
