The Mobile Communications Business Group (MCB) is looking for a senior marketer to lead our world-class v-team of product managers, Central Marketing Group discipline owners, and global advertising agencies in pursuit of consumer/end-user awareness, preference, and usage of Windows Mobile applications and services (from Microsoft and Microsoft ISV's).

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product management and ISV partner teams to generate and articulate the campaign strategy using insights gleaned from research, observation, experience and input from multiple sources inside and outside of Microsoft.
Lead multi-disciplinary v-teams that span functions and organizations to deliver fully integrated consumer/end-user campaigns that include the very best work from Microsoft's centralized discipline teams and agency partners (brand, advertising, direct marketing, online, etc) to meet clear quantitative targets and deliver high ROI.
Work with worldwide teams to deeply understand regional requirements and effectively meet the needs of Microsoft subsidiaries to grow Windows Mobile apps and services "attach" in mature and emerging markets.
Drive a continuous improvements process for in-market impact, ROI, and customer satisfaction across audience marketing campaigns and programs in all MCB markets.
Contribute to building the Windows Mobile story and evangelize internally with key stakeholders.

Outcomes You Will Drive:

Windows Mobile apps and services awareness and perception shift on key targeted attributes across named consumer segments in MCB subsidiaries.
Increased feature usage and overall consumer preference for Windows Mobile apps and services.
Increased intent to download and/or purchase across consumer segments and high yield on demand generation and direct response campaigns.
Innovation and efficiency through highly immersive digital marketing and viral marketing wins.
Establish audience marketing metrics, scorecard, dashboard(s), and best practices across MCB subsidiaries.

Qualifications

The successful candidate has excellent Marketing Leadership Skills and a proven ability to utilize deep consumer understanding and compelling marketing strategy to focus and drive the business across internal and external partners. This leader must be visible and influential to ensure maximum executive buy-in and support-and to focus mindshare and resources across Microsoft. You have a track record of building scalable marketing strategies and executing on your strategies with passion, precision and excellence. You think creatively about customer/business problems and generate innovative solutions.

Candidates should have an MBA in marketing, or equivalent, with at least 8 years of leadership experience in consumer product marketing, marketing communications, and related disciplines. In addition, you must have experience in driving successful market research, advertising, direct marketing and retail/channel marketing. Relationship marketing experience is a plus, as is Web marketing experience.
