*Lead T&C negotiations with customers and partners.
*Provide commercial contract T&C risk analysis, interpretation and develop alternatives to mitigate commercial risks.
*Develop consortium agreements with partners.
*Prepare and negotiate GE construction subcontracts.
*Coordinate proposal input from insurance, logistics, finance and other disciplines.
*Represent PPS interests in customer and GE internal meetings.
*Report commercial risks, mitigation, and resolution to management via business segment risk reviews.
*Assist in development of successful bid structure and subcontracting strategies.
Qualifications
*Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or comparable discipline.
*Minimum 3 years prior commercial contract administration, contract management and/or proposal development experience, in power generation or the large construction industry.
*Travel required for consortium and customer negotiations.
Eligibility Requirements:
*You must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
*Travel domestically/internationally up to 20% for consortium and customer negotiations.
Desired
*Minimum five years prior commercial contract or project management experience with domestic and international customers.
*Power industry experience and knowledge, working with power customers, prime contractors and construction subcontractors.
*Experience negotiating large dollar value commercial contracts, construction subcontracts and claims.
*Turnkey contract development experience.
*MBA or similar degree.
*Foreign language skills (European).
*Computer - Word and Power Point capability.
*Excellent terms and conditions analysis skills including the ability to recognize and assess impacts on project execution.
*Strong negotiation and presentation skills including preparation of presentation materials.
*Ability to handle many complex issues concurrently.
*Excellent written and oral communication skills (English language).
*Excellent working knowledge of customer, subcontractor, and supplier terms and conditions, and risk mitigation strategies.
General
ITO Contract Manager/Power Plant Systems: The individual in this position will lead the development and negotiations of complex terms and conditions for turnkey and extended scope proposals in the thermal, wind and hydro power plant segments. This person will also be responsible for developing and negotiating consortium agreements and construction subcontracts, as assigned.
