Job Description
Working with Control Solutions as an intern, you will get hands-on client experience along with instructor lead training. You will work in a multi-client environment as part of a team conducting control reviews, process improvement reviews, reengineering facilitations, IT system reviews and EDP audits. This internship will provide you with a strong foundation to finish out your education and embark on your career. Interns assist in providing quality Internal Audit services to our clients by performing the duties and responsibilities listed below.
* Develops relationships with client employees and Control Solutions team members.
* Becomes familiar with and adheres to our companies policies and procedures.
* Working effectively on teams, helping clients improve processes, identifying and recommending internal audit best practices, preparing clear and concise work papers, and creatively generating implementable recommendations.
Requirements:
*Must be working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or related field (such as Finance or Business);
*Active participation in student organizations highly desirable;
*Prior work experience in accounting or related field;
*Ability to gain computer proficiency relative to company’s administrative programs, word processing, audit programs and internet research required;
*Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as a customer-oriented attitude.
*High degree of self-motivation;
*Adaptable and versatile in working with change;
*Willingness to learn and be challenged
Internship locations include: Nashua, NH, New York, NY, Brisbane, CA, San Diego, CA and Chicago, IL.
*Please note that housing, meals, and commuting costs are not covered expenses.
Interns must be able to travel to our Nashua, NH office for the first 2 weeks for training (this travel expense will be covered).
2008 Internship program has a target start date of Mid-May and will run until approximately Mid-August. Interns should expect to work 40 hours per week. Some travel may be required.
No relocation.
Internship candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
