External Job Description The primary mission of the Manager, Relationship Management Corporate Finance is bring value to Hospira by effectively leveraging technologies to drive significant process improvement.
The objective of the Relationship Manager role is to bring value to the company by:
* Partnering with the business leaders to shape strategy
* Defining process capabilities and gaps within Hospira
* Recommend solutions to close those gaps by leveraging our technology investments in alignment with the business priority
The relationship manager must be an expert on the business processes, strategies, goals, drivers and customers for the global quality organization and apply to technology to address business needs. The role must acquire a deep understanding of IT services and capabilities and be able to effectively communicate service offerings to business. In addition it is important to understand the Demand Management Process and communicate the process and associated frameworks to IT staff and business customers.
This role is responsible for the finance application portfolio and as such must work with the IT and business senior leadership to optimize the use of enterprise platforms, establishing a vision and roadmap for continuous improvement, and perform excellent communication. The systems include both legacy, best of breed global applications and SAP.
Skills/Experience Education/Certification Minimum of 12 years of experience in a global manufacturing environment leading an IT organization. Strong inter-personal and relationship skills - must have an ability to develop and sustain executive-level relationships as well as internal organization relationships across a variety of roles and levels. Healthcare or Life Sciences industry experience with a solid understanding of financial system processes is critical. Able to translate process issues, concerns and opportunities into IT solutions. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills (applied in both in person and phone interactions). Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent experience is important and SAP experience and MBA preferred.
