Description :
Provide legal support for specific business units - Merchandising, Marketing and on-line business.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Review and draft agreements for the various HSN business units and its affiliated company, Cornerstone Brands, Inc.
Prepare form agreements for execution.
Assist merchandising in responding to requests for changes to HSN standard form agreements, including Master Terms & Conditions, Drop Shipment Agreements, Co-Op Marketing Agreements.
Work with vendors and prospective business partners to resolve contractual issues.
Assist Senior Contracts Administrator in conducting training on the Master Terms & Conditions and Drop Shipment Agreements.
Assist internal business units on contract interpretation.
Develop deep understanding of the various HSN business units, fulfillment models, and marketing methods.
Prepare memoranda on existing deal points for HSN' management
Minimum Requirements:
Current Resume’
JD from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida Bar, or ability to be certified as Authorized House Counsel.
Ability to exercise good business judgment in a fast paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Self-motivated.
Ability to work independently and with others.
Experience in general legal practice at a law firm and/or corporate legal environment.
Preferred Requirements:
Transactional experience.
IP experience.
3 to 5 years experience at a law firm and/or corporate law department.
