The video service test team will work to assure the quality of video scenarios during development and throughout the life of the service (ex: glitch free content delivery and playback under variable network conditions, business rule enforcement, metadata & content integrity, client performance and reliability, etc.). In addition processes and tools will need to support testing the service on different clients (Xbox, Zune, Web UI, Media Center, Mobile etc.).

Responsibilities
In your role, you will be working closely with members of program management, development and test in spec and design reviews and would be the key owner for formulating test strategies, designing and developing automated test programs to assure the quality of owned features. Candidates will be expected to develop test plans, test cases, and automation to successfully deliver one or more features. In addition you will have opportunity to contribute to core UI and web service automation infrastructure that our automation would rely on.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have minimum 2+ year of test experience and have proven track record of shipping quality software on time. A successful candidate for this position is a quality-oriented, customer-focused and highly motivated individual with effective test, organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong problem solving skills as well as strong C# coding skills are required. And demonstrable knowledge of Web/Internet technologies - ASP.NET, AJAX, SilverLight and DHTML is a plus but not required. Previous experience of Web UI and Web service testing is a plus. A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
