This position requires the application of subject matter expertise relative to cross-organizational quantitative model validation projects. Typically, models to be validated include models that measure risk in the corporation's credit, market and operational businesses, but may also include specific decision support tools that have not been promoted to model status. The manager will use assigned quantitative analysts to examine, test, formulate recommendations for corrective action and report findings to executive management, and corporation risk committees. In addition, the manger will prescribe the processes necessary to validate, document and report results when the scope of the assignment demands and as appropriate to reduce complex theories to mainstream discussion points for reporting. The manager must consider Federal Reserve and OCC regulations relative to model validation.
Advacned Degree requirement: Masters, PhD.
