The role includes:
*Maintaining accurate payroll & benefits and related account balances.
*Recommending and record necessary related accounting adjustments.
*Ensuring compliance for all activities.
Description of specific responsibilities includes:
1. Performing:
*Error corrections to ensure proper accounting per requirements.
*Account reconciliations.
*Benefits allocations & reporting.
*Incentive compensation & reporting.
*Deferred OT accrual, vacation accrual & reporting.
*SOX audit support.
*Assigned quarterly data requests (Corporate DRs).
*Ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
2. Proactively improve related processes and systems.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
* At least 3 years of experience in an accounting position.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work in a team environment.
* Solid computer skills.
* Knowledge of relevant GE financial systems (Payroll Distribution System, PeopleSoft, Vista, OHR, Oracle GL, Brio, OFA, ADI, IBS, ART, Business Objects) is preferred but not required.
