* Support ITO (Com Ops & Sales on Proposals).
* Lead OTR (from receipt of order to delivery) for assigned projects
Note: Multiple projects will be managed at the same time.
* Lead cross-functional team working on and supporting each project, e.g. engineering, quality, manufacturing, finance, sourcing, etc. Includes: establishing project goals (Quality, Time, Budget), driving production, operational rhythm, project updates/reports to management, customer interface and financial reports (ECAC).
* Must ensure all quality requirements are met, as well as special order requirements, and processes such as expediting orders.
* Provide daily/weekly update of orders processing to team leader (PLL) during team meetings.
* Support and interface with manufacturing operations to assure deliverables are in place to maintain manufacturing schedules to support OTD.
* Frequent customer interaction (daily) as well as supplier interaction to make sure orders are taken properly, input into the order tracking system, priced appropriately, and the order is shipped or delivered to the customer on time.
* Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively interface with customers and support teams.
* Proven leadership capabilities with ability to motivate others and achieve results.
* Effectively apply GE methodology and enforce project standards.
* Keeps team informed of changes.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical degree required.
* A minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
* Basic financial knowledge and minimum of 1 year experience with proposals, pricing, and billing practices.
* Must have understanding of Internet, Intranet, and customer/server processes.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Desired
* A minimum of 5 years experience in a metal fabrication environment preferred.
* Proven ability to project manage multiple orders.
* Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
* Six Sigma GB/BB certified (GE employees only).
* Prior Nuclear industry experience.
* Experience using Microsoft Projects and AutoCAD a plus.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with external customers and internal team members.
