John Deere Parts Distribution is seeking a Department Coordinator-2nd Shift to coordinate various emergency order picking, transportation, loading and shipping processes to ensure the timely shipment of emergency orders to customers and destinations. In this position, you will:



Coordinate/communicate with, and/or give direction to, unit wage and salaried employees (including supervisors), outside contractors (consolidators, carriers, dispatchers and truck drivers) and Deere dealers/customers to insure all emergency orders are processed and shipped on time.
Coordinate picking and loading to ensure timely and complete shipments to destinations.
Reduce occurrences of non-shipped parcels and shipping errors.
Maintain/create and/or provide data for various shipping reports, inventory locations, etc.
Create processes and/or review shipping documents.
Manage and control updates in various systems by shipping personnel.




Education



Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent warehouse/inventory experience.


Required Skills and Experience

Extensive knowledge of warehouse picking, shipping and transportation processes.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel from wage to salaried employees, including management.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Desired Skills and Experience



Knowledge of the Deere Production System (WCS and DNS) as they relate to both inbound and outbound processes.
