The Black Belt will implement existing Industrial strategies, identify remaining vital X's that will drive business objectives and effectively communicate them to the organization.
* Support / Drive the Big Y's for Industrial segment focusing on On-Time Delivery, Fulfillment Pacing Cost of Quality and Billing Quality.
* Support and aide in driving appropriate business metrics relating to Industrial segment.
* Lead projects aligned to vital X's ensuring all deliverables and schedules are met.
* Communicate metrics and project objectives, status, barriers, and results to all levels of the organization as required.
* Work in the highly dynamic Energy Services business environment exposed to all functional aspects of the business including marketing, sales, commercial operations, services execution and operations.
* Help to drive strategies for growth and productivity for the Industrial Technology segment working in partnership with the Industrial Operations team in Parts & Repairs using Six Sigma and LEAN to achieve desired results.
* Exposure to and require influencing of many different levels of business management.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree.
* Green Belt Certification (GE employees only).
* At least 1 year of experience in project management.
* At least 1 year of experience in leading cross-functional teams.
Desired
* Ability to handle multiple tasks.
* Minimum of 3 years experience in Energy Services business with some specific focus on either marketing, commercial operations, engineering, sales or other direct customer interfacing responsibility.
* Prior LEAN experience in a services business.
* In-depth knowledge of Industrial equipment and/or support accessories.
* Advanced degree.
* Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, & facilitation skills.
* Fact driven decision maker, change agent, customer focus.
* Excellent PC Skills with demonstrated ability in Excel and Mini-Tab.
