Position Description
Requirements Verification Team Lead to coordinate requirements sell-off on major program. Scope to include completion of first vehicle as well as support to future vehicle verification activities. Job will involve leading a team of 5 systems engineers and includes heavy program and customer interaction. Candidate will also interface with various spacecraft subsystem engineers regarding technical details related to subsystem and system level requirements verification and may also lead various related technical issue resolution activities. Technical knowledge of spacecraft and subsystems is highly desirable. Strong general Spacecraft background and experience with requirements verification also desired. Candidate must be comfortable working in a high visibility program position. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills needed. Coaches, mentors, and trains requirements team as necessary. Ability to negotiate agreements with the customer on a on-going basis.

Education and/or Experience
Typically 20 years' experience in an engineering classification or either a Master's degree with 18 years' experience or a PhD degree with a minimum of 15 years' experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
