The Zune team is embarking on the mission to create a "Connected Entertainment" experience, realized through the Zune service, that spans multiple devices such as Zune, Xbox, PC and Mobile phones. As a senior technical leader, you will be responsible for working with eLiveMobile technical leadership on building multi-release technical plans for the product and test infrastructure. You will also be responsible for providing input on technical strategy, design, communication and engineering excellence leadership on complex computing problems ranging from the design of new UI/API solutions to extensibility model and QA infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
Product design/architecture, Test architecture, strategy, methodology, process, and technical innovation
Drive testability into feature designs
Technically lead, mentor, and motivate a strong team of SDETs
Requirements:
We are looking of an individual that has a proven track record as a key technical visionary and consultant on strategic, highly complex issues, problems, and challenges.
Candidate should be highly effective influencing both internal and external audiences and possess a demonstrated ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries. Qualifications must include broad and in-depth technical experiences with test practices, development processes, and the overall project cycle.
7-10 years experience in software development and/or software quality assurance
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to technically lead, mentor, and motivate a strong team of SDETs
Vision and strategic thinking in software design
Excellent cross-group collaboration skills
Experience across the complete product life cycle
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Master's degree is highly desirable.
