John Deere Agriculture is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide council on business financial matters in a Union free facility. In this position, you will:
Provide input for compensation planning for a 300+ member work force, administration of multi-million dollar payroll and benefit program.
Have over site of all Purchase Orders processed at the unit, financial planning responsibility for the Factory Master Planning team, Capital spending planning and over site, and compliance management responsibilities.
Provide essential analysis input for a unit/product line.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in an Accounting/Finance discipline.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance/accounting assignments.
Understanding of financial concepts such as Budgets, Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Return on Investment (ROI), Operating Return on Assets (OROA), Shareholder Value Added (SVA), etc.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or equivalent.
Knowledge of accounting systems and policies, ideally including the process that has been followed at John Deere.
Understands the integrated systems of internal control and the relationship to disclosure and financial reporting.
Experience in financial consolidations and/or planning assignments.
