Job Title Microbiology Lab Tech (AB2)
External Job Description Perform routine microbiological and pharmacological testing and record results on the appropriate forms, logbooks or data sheets. Perform viable and non-viable monitoring of aseptic areas and ancillary areas. Performs other laboratory duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience Education/Certification High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant science lab course work or experience. Experience with aseptic technique preferred. Good organizational skills and attention to detail required. Must be able to interact with other laboratory and production personnel to accomplish duties. Requires occasional lifting up to 40 pounds. Must have 20/20 correctable vision. Experience with gowning and aseptic technique desirable. Computer experience desirable. Satisfactory performance and attendance is required.
