Position Description
This Networks Systems Engineer position will provide the daily technical oversight for the AMF JTRS program's network management supplier for the Network IPT in the Network IPT. Position leads effort to define, analyze, specify and document requirements for the AMF Network Manager Services elements. Works with modeling and simulation team to achieve, analyze and assess network services performance models and results. Candidate must be capable of developing technical documentation such as specifications, interface definition & control documentation, or verification summary reports and using a requirements management tool e.g DOORS. Supports other teams within Network IPT, and other program IPTs like SEIT and software. Coordinates comparable work product and provides technical support to supplier(s) on Network IPT. Position is contingent upon AMF JTRS contract award. Current DoD SECRET clearance preferred.

Education and/or Experience
Typically 14 to 19 years' experience in an engineering classification or either a Master's degree with 12 to 17 years' experience or a PhD degree with 9 to 14 years' experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
