You as a Business Banking Representative II will
Be responsible for increasing both business loan and deposit outstandings in an assigned territory.
Cross-sell products to existing business customers (both borrowers and non-borrowers) and prospects.
Be responsible for individual sales efforts and cultivation of the branches to achieve unit goals for small business at your respective branch.
Have high volume telephone contact and some in person visits
Network with internal and external referral sources and be visible in the community.
You and your skills -
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
Excellent communication skills particularly over the phone
Ability to manage the sales process, be persuasive, make compelling sales presentations, and negotiate terms
Knowledge of commercial and consumer underwriting
Knowledge of some computer applications, including but not limited to, MS Office and some internal applications would be helpful
The minimum amount of related work experience preferred is three years and up to five years: financial service sales or retail banking sales experience and one to two years experience working with small business owners on their business banking needsTo learn more about working at National City, click here.
