This position will manage the activities of the US Accounts Payable Operational Forensic team and Global AP quality reporting. This position will also perform the duties of the DBA (Data Base Administrator) and global trainer/lead for ApexAnalytix, our duplicate payment prevention software and data warehouse. Assist the Global Disbursement department in achieving its objectives by reviewing, evaluating and implementing the proper AP Operational Forensic procedures and related controls.



Principal Accountabilities:

Manage the US Operational Forensic team’s activity , prioritizing tasks in order to meet deadlines and utilize resources effectively.
Manage the data gathering and reporting of all international quality reviews from the AP operational staff in the United States, Asia, Latin America and Europe.
Perform the duties of Data Base Administrator for the ApexAnalytix duplicate payment software tool. Monitor the tools performance, grant the proper access rights to worldwide audience and manage all the responsibilities of duplicate payment process.
Manage the responsibility of training all ApexAnalytix users in the United States, Asia, Latin America and Europe.
Ownership of the creation, continuous review and updating of the Accounts Payable non-vendor SOX documentation and workflows.
Continuously performing the due diligence of identifying and implementing process improvements within Accounts Payable . Communicate with various levels of management involving A/P controls, procedures and guidelines.
Ensure the propriety of invoice processing and adherence to departmental/company procedure and Sarbanes Oxley control documentation.
Review and maintain exception reports designed to highlight control issues, high risk items and exposure items.
Analyze results of the Forensic evaluations and a provide AP management with suggestions for improvement.
Ensure currentdesk procedure documenta tion is updated and maintained for the Forensic team.
Special projects as requested by management.







 



College degree in accounting or business major required.
Knowledge of Lawson Financial system strongly preferred.
Experience in dealing with multicultural business partners. This position requires a great deal of interaction with individuals from many different countries in Asia, Latin America and Europe.
Knowledge of MS Office products required, as well as exceptionally strong PC skills to run queries from Access and ACL software, maintain databases and track findings.
Experience with Accounts Payable policies and procedures and possession of a global perspective of AP functions and how they impact the corporation.
Good interpersonal & communication skills are critical to work with all members of the department, large customer base and all levels of Corporate and Business Unit Management.
Assertiveness to follow up on issues and responsibility in adhering to deadlines. Must be able to work independently, be accountable for their work and understand when an issue must be elevated to management.
Strong organizational skills are required to handle ad hoc reporting requests, and the ability to prioritize desk functions as necessary.
Analytical problem solving abilities to draw conclusions and identify relationships between processes / issues
Drive for results – ability to produce consistent high quality work. Exercises initiative to anticipate and overcome barriers.
Collaboration – ability to effectively develop working relationships that help the department meet its goals.
