Wire and SWIFT Senior Product Manager Job Description
The Wire and SWIFT Senior Product Manager is responsible for managing the profit & loss for Wire and SWIFT and other electronic payments products in the Commercial Bank. A critical aspect of the responsibility is understanding the needs of the relevant customer group and creating product development and sales strategies to meet those needs. The Senior Product Manager will plan, develop, and execute programs designed to achieve fee revenue for the Wire and SWIFT product set and balance growth. Other key responsibilities include working with COIS, vendors, marketing and other teams to prioritize, plan, develop, and communicate Wire and SWIFT programs to the Commercial Banking/Treasury Management sales and support teams. Job responsibility also includes oversight of the operational delivery of the product including platform capacity planning and management.
In addition the Wire and SWIFT Senior Product Manager will:
Set pricing and participate in making local pricing decisions as driven by market competition and high volume considerations.
Routinely lead teams/task forces
Manage vendor relationships.
Lead multiple functional groups TM Sales, Commercial Banking Sales (RMs), COIS, Marketing, Legal/Compliance, etc to influence, develop, and implement product initiatives, and develop strategies or address complex problems or business opportunities that would impact financial performance.
Engage Credit, Legal/Compliance and other groups to ensure risk management of products.
Meet with clients; sales calls, product effectiveness calls and client satisfaction calls.
Develop business plans for Wire and SWIFT, including tactical plans for marketing, operations, sales & promotions, product enhancements and development, etc.
Manage product work plan for product conversions and migrations. Act as subject matter expert for all training initiatives.
Coordinate development of regular financial forecasts for each product. Forecast projections include revenue and net income. Ensure regular analysis of assigned product revenue and growth. Utilize analysis to refine products. Prepare and present updates to management.
Participate as needed in geographic market reviews, competitor reviews, due diligence, conversion/consolidation efforts, contingency planning, or other taskforce initiatives to represent requirements of Commercial Banking Product Management.
Position requires:
