Position: HR -- Federal Performance Management

Job Description:

Location: Nationwide
Salary: $65/hr

Training is your forte and you bring the Government HR human capital training background to the table. Retired, semi-retired, or professional freelancers needed for ongoing contract engagements throughout the country. If you are a Human Resources professional with a strong background in the federal government system, we would like to speak with you. Our client is seeking a minimum of 5 + years of experience in performance management, staffing, job classification, and / or compensation.

You bring the ability to facilitate and teach courses using standardized curriculum that cannot be modified. You will hit the road as a consultant as you will be responsible for instructional design, development, and delivery of coursework throughout the

US. Changes to the new federal HR performance management system will become your major focus. (NSPS)
Pack your bags as you must be flexible regarding work scheduling and on occasion travel over night. In this role, you will be working in multiple settings individually or as a part of a team.

BA/BS with an emphasis in HR Development, HR Management, Organizational Development, or Adult Learning and Education with 10+ years in a Government Scale (GS), HR related job category with the Federal Government.

Based out of DC area but open to consultants US wide. Hourly rate $65.00 range.

Must-have Qualifications:

Min BS/BA with an emphasis in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Adult Learning/Education.
Prior experience working with Federal HR related issues. (Required)
Strong understanding of performance management and its applications.
Experience in staffing, retention, job classification, and/or compensation is strongly preferred.
Ability to facilitate, teach, and instruct multiple courses using standardized curriculum.
Ability to work flexible schedules.
Ability to travel overnight to multiple locations both domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with 15+ years of Federal (GS Category) experience in human resource roles.
MA/MBA
