Legal Secretary -Litigation Background
|
Job Description:
Legal Secretary with litigation background and electronic court filing experience in a law firm setting needed immediately. Position is within a law firm located- (Downtown) DC.
Duties may include: file maintenance, time entry, transcription, scheduling, and other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should posses excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be highly motivated with great organizational skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of recent experience as a Legal Secretary in a law firm environment.
Minimum of 3 years of recent litigation experience background.
Stable work history (No more than 2 employers during the last 5 years).
Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
Typing skills 60 wpm –minimum.
Dictaphone experience not required but is a plus.
