Are you passionate about racing games? Are you business savvy and team oriented?
Microsoft Games Studios is looking for a creative and talented business professional to drive our Racing Games Franchises, including Forza and Project Gotham Racing. You will set strategy and manage the day to day business of key Xbox 360 and Windows Racing titles across MGS. You will collaborate with a cross-group team of interactive entertainment leaders (including marketing, PR/events, finance, legal and product development) to develop franchise strategy, set/measure business performance metrics, manage business relationships and ensure we meet our short and long term financial and business goals.
You also will develop a deep understanding of the interactive entertainment business/ecosystem and the economic forces that drive market opportunities and game development/publishing decisions, including alternative revenue streams and business models. With this knowledge, you will tackle complex business and strategic issues and align our efforts with other business goals and initiatives within Microsoft Game Studios and the Interactive Entertainment Business.
Requirements include: strong strategic thinking ability; superior cross-group collaboration skills and organizational agility; independent financial, competitive and business analysis; excellent business development and contract negotiation skills. Knowledge of the interactive entertainment business and the levers that drive hardware, software and services sales is a plus.
B.A/B.S. required. MBA/JD, legal/finance/consulting background and games industry experience strongly preferred.
