* Lead the Gasification Finance effort for new Proposal activity.
* Support the Commercial Operations team, and the Gasification Commercial Finance Manager in gathering and validating cost information from operating activities within gasification.
* Responsible for total financial support of IGCC BIDS for Gasification.
* Take a lead role, with oversight from Commercial Finance, on bids less than $50MM.
* Assume a support role on bids greater than $50MM, taking direction from the Manager-Gasification Commercial Finance and the Mager-Gasification Finance.
* Maintain a database to track and timely update the estimates for Orders, Sales and CM for both pending bids, outstanding bids, and contracts in backlog.
* Execute project financial commitments including preparation of quarterly balance sheet and operations estimates and total project estimate at completion.
* Implement project financial controls and routines including cost monitoring and analysis, revenue recognition, tax compliance, and site controllership.
* Work closely with Project Manager, the rest of the PPSD, Gasification and Power Gen finance teams to support regular project reviews and monitor project status at all times.
* Provide timely feedback to the ITO team in preparation of new bids.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4+ years of experience in a risk management position)
* At least 3+ additional years of experience in a risk analysis or risk management position

* Prior Project Finance/Commercial Finance experience.
* Advanced level Excel skills.
* Intermediate level Data base skills.

* Strong process mindset.
* Financial Management Program (FMP) Graduate (GE employees only) or
major in Accounting.
* Progressively responsible Finance development experiences.
* Prior experience with POC Accounting, SOP81-1, and/or milestone based construction Accounting.
* Detail oriented and hands on work approach.
* Team Player.
