Explanation Statement
John Deere Parts Distribution Center, in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a Depot Warehouse Expediter to perform document processing, report preparation, and data retrieval and filing. In this position, you will:
Verify the accuracy and completeness of data submissions/forms and enter data into appropriate system.
Receive, research, and interpret documentation for the purpose of completing transactions (reading part blue prints, verifying inventory accuracy).
Contact customers outside of the work area and receive incoming inquiries; resolve technical and complex problems within field of expertise.
Perform analysis of complex nature on information received, and research or resolve issues.
Education
Associates degree or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Data entry/keyboarding skills.
Ability to use computer applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
Ability to read technical drawings and verify accuracy of part dimensions based on drawings.
Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills when working with customers.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong planning, prioritizing and organizational skills.
Desired Skills and Experience
Warehousing, customer service, and inventory experience.
Experience using DTAC, WCS, DNS, and/or DBSS systems.
