Explanation Statement
John Deere World Headquarters, in Moline, IL, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Service Representative to provide customers with information in response to the most complex situations. In this position, you will:
Be a member of the Deere Direct benefits Call Center team.
Handle employee/retiree telephone and written inquiries regarding benefit eligibility and coverage/transaction information.
Use multiple computer software applications to locate information for consistent response to inquiries.
Process employee human resource transactions (such as benefits enrollment, dependent changes, address changes, retirements, etc.).
Initiate correspondence to employees and retirees to answer inquiries.
Document inquiries in a call tracking system to identify common problems and to provide history for follow-up and reference by other team members and/or service teams.
Work with team members to resolve difficult inquiries.
Assist supervisors in the continuous improvement of the customer service delivery process.
Education
Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Experience working in customer service or related customer-oriented environment.
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, and experience with service delivery using the telephone as the primary means for communicating with customers.
Desire to succeed in a process-oriented work environment, which emphasizes customer satisfaction and requires teamwork to accomplish organizational goals.
Experience working with confidential information.
Experience using Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
Experience with transaction data entry and processing and the ability to quickly navigate between a number of software applications, for example, SAP and the suite of Microsoft applications.
Strong organization skills and ability to manage priorities and document information quickly and accurately.
Work experience in a team environment.
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience working in Human Resources.
Experience working with SAP.
