HSMM is searching for a CADD Technician 1 to:
Provide electrical drafting, document research, retrieval, reproduction, distribution, receiving, and logging.
Assist the HSMM Office CADD Lead, electrical engineering group and other HSMM staff adhere to HSMM CADD standards and archive documents.
Coordinate and interact with other members of the architectural, interiors, and engineering staff.
Work under the direction of the HSMM Engineering Department Head and the Office CADD Lead.
Be able to handle much of their job duties without detailed direction.
Be able to work well within a team environment and closely with the HSMM Office Staff.
Job Requirements:
Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
4 years experience in a related field with 2 years in an Engineering, or A/E firm drafting building electrical systems and producing contract documents.
Current proficiency in AutoCAD (2004 or later version) and AutoDesk's ADT.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience using Microsoft Office or similar software.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field is desirable and would be worth 2 years experience.
Experience with Microstation V8 or later is desirable.
