Hospira's Systems Technology and Services business is currently hiring Implementation Program Managers. Implementation Program Managers work with customers to maximize the value of Hospira's products and services in the healthcare setting. Our Products save lives by increasing patient safety, improving clinical practices and optimizing asset utilization. The Implementation Program Manager is accountable for the customer experience, operational and financial performance of the Regional Services Business. Additionally the Program Manager will directly manage strategic engagements within their region.
Responsibilities:
* Successful deployment of all products and services within their region.
* Balance operational metrics, financial performance and risk to maximize customer value.
* Manage risks and customer satisfaction associated with the rollout of new products, software and service offerings.
* Build strong relationships with field sales and assist in pre-sales activities as necessary.
* Manage the implementation and services pipeline to maximize financial performance and customer satisfaction.
* Manage and mentor a direct staff of 2-4 staff members. Each staff member manages multiple, large, cross functional (Nursing, Pharmacy, I.T., BioMed, etc) teams of Hospira and Customer resources.
* Build strong customer relationships with Sr. Level Hospital Staff and leverage these as part of Hospira's ongoing marketing efforts.
Skills/Experience Education/Certification Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience in the Healthcare industry
* Led the implementation of multiple large scale ($3+M) Hospital Information Systems
* 5+ years Consulting or Sales experience in the Healthcare Industry
* Strong client management skills (ie. Account Management, Subject Matter Expert during the Sales Cycle, etc). Strong relationships with Sr. Level Hospital Staff
* Clinical, PharmD, Nursing and/or I.T. education. Advanced degree a plus
* Excellent Management, Teamwork and Interpersonal skills
* Strong Experience in activities like Statement of Work creation, Estimations, Scope Definition, Project Planning, Budgeting, Cost & Time management, Resource plans/forecasts, Risk Management, Change Control, Quality Planning, Stakeholder Communication etc. Certification is plus (PMI-PMP/PgMP, etc.)
* Experience with PMO office to ensure proper Processes, Status Reporting, Auditing and Measurement guidelines are being followed and reported
* Holistic "people / process / technology" approach to solving technology related business problems
* Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal, ability to work and communicate effectively with stakeholders
* Excellent Presentation Skills, Ability to make effective presentations to all levels of management
* Travel is 40%. Easy access to a major regional airport is required.
* Home Office. We are targetting Boston, Maryland, New York or Philadelphia, but the the location of this position is flexible.
