The position will support the development of new parenteral pharmaceutical products or new products in the biopharmaceutical / biosimilars market for contract manufacturing customers. The internship will focus on analytical method development and formulation development. In addition to the laboratory component, candidates will have the opportunity to learn the process to bring new products to market. Candidate should have knowledge of formulation science and strong laboratory skills in analytical chemistry and biochemistry. Preference will be given to candidates that have completed independent laboratory research projects outside of the classroom setting.
Skills/Experience Education/Certification BS in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field preferred.
Currently pursuing advanced degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field.
Intern selection is competitive and based on grade point average, leadership abilities, communication skills and relevant coursework -- the same criteria used for entry-level employee selection.
