Position Description
This position is part of the Long Beach Site Core Business Operations Processes and Tools organization. Position will be responsible for providing Integrated Scheduling process direction, formal training, leading development and maintenance of process metrics, process documentation, and participation in process reviews/surveillances. In addition will facilitate Scheduling Best Practices reviews, process standardization, lead special project scheduling teams, and make recommendations for improvements to program project schedules. Position requires ability to work well in team environments, analytical ability and excellent communication and presentation skills. This position interfaces with program, site, and Integrated Defense Systems management as well as Government representative/Customers.

Education and/or Experience

Other Job related information
Candidates must have schedule development and scheduling processes experience. This includes leading production of integrated schedules, networking, critical path methodologies, variance analysis, risk assessment, schedule status/metrics, and reporting techniques. Should also be able to lead special project teams, have experience with Earned Value Managment, process documentation, and the ability to conduct formal and informal training. Candidates must be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications such as Projects, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Candidates must have knowledge of Integrated Defense Systems common tools including Open Plan Professional, Cobra, winsight and Integrated Management Information Control System (IMICS). Candidates must have the ability to adjust priorities to multiple demanding unanticipated events as well as adjust decisions and actions to new information, and the ability to lead efforts toward accomplishment of goals and objectives through team and partnership-oriented actions.
