Position Description
Candidate will be responsible for image quality determination and data processing analysis support of raw mission data for a 24x7 operational system. Candidate will troubleshoot the data processing chain to identify the sources of error in mission imagery, and provide solutions based upon those sources. This position acts as first tier support for the resolution of mission imagery issues. Candidate must be familiar with: Unix and Windows based workstations, various COTS packages including tools for product creation, modification and off-line analysis of mission data. Candidate must work in a tight-knit environment and have reliable work attendance. Candidate must be a team player. Candidate will completely understand and apply intelligence/image analytic principles, theories, and concepts. He/She will also possess general knowledge of other related disciplines and provide intelligence/image analytic solutions to a wide range of difficult problems by receiving general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. He/She will communicate intelligence/image analytic principles, theories and concepts as well as related disciplines from multiple platforms to the journeyman level. He/She will develop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. He/She will independently determine and develop approaches to solutions and interact extensively with inter-organizational personnel and external government customers. He/She will contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects.

Education and/or Experience

Position works 12 hour rotating shifts. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance. Candidate must have a current TS/SSBI clearance and be readily clearable for a TS/SCI Clearance. Candidate must be willing to take and pass a Full Scope polygraph. Current clearance must be noted on resume. Prefer candidates who already have had a full scope polygraph.
