Position Description
Assists with the development, testing and installation of training device support materials and data files. Loads, configures, manipulates and troubleshoots training device hardware and software to deliver scripted training. Identifies and reports in-service technical and operational issues. Participates in training device operator and training event team meetings, training device event pre- and post-briefings. Provides scripted stimulation voice inputs to support training event requirements and objectives. Representative Major Tasks: Under direct supervision, applies training device system skills and knowledge to power-on, configure and manipulate training device hardware in order to deliver scripted training with supervision. Loads and configures software to support training objectives and established training event requirements as directed. Responds to student inputs and manipulates hardware and software as directed to achieve training requirements and objectives. Identifies, troubleshoots and corrects on-equipment technical hardware and software operational anomalies to meet internal and external customer training requirements and objectives using available technical and operational data. Resolves common, non-complex technical and operational issues (reset, reboot, reload, reconfigure, etc.) without supervision. May require assistance to resolve common, non-complex technical and operational issues within specified time limits. Requires assistance to resolve more complex technical and operational issues. With general supervision, assists with the development, testing and installation of training device support materials and data files. Identifies and reports in-service technical and operational issues. Supports and assists internal and external organizations as directed. Follows training device support documentation and direction. Provides scripted stimulation inputs to support training event requirements and objectives. Provides electronic and voice inputs to simulate operational environments and conditions.

Education and/or Experience
