John Deere Construction and Forestry is seeking a Supply Management Specialist in Service Parts Operations to develop and implement strategies for managing service part inventories. In this position, you will:
Drive continuous improvement by developing processes to improve inventory performance.
Work with various groups (Parts Division, Parts Marketing, Engineering and Product Support) to support division relationships.
Continually improve parts processes by working within the Engineering Product Delivery Process.
Support engineering change management.
Education
Degree in a Business, Management, Supply Management, Accounting, Finance or Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Experience
3 plus years Supply Management background or equivalent (Inventory Management) experience.
Demonstrated experience developing Inventory Management processes and Inventory Reduction Technique.
Experience using Microsoft Excel.
Desired Skills and Experience
Project Management experience.
Production Control experience.
Experience with Microsoft Access.
Cross functional experience within Operations.
