We are looking for an exceptional Sr. SDET LEAD to recruit great SDET talent and help build an outstanding test team. You will be one of the Sr. Leads on the team working on design and delivery of the mobile entertainment solution for Zune Mobile and contribute to overall technical strategy.
A qualified candidate should have a proven track record of shipping software at the feature level, managing individual contributors, a strong desire to foster a sustainable high performance test culture and excellent communication and cross-group/discipline collaboration skills. In addition, a successful candidate will have experience in Microsoft test methodologies, tools development, project management skills and excellent technical knowledge including test design and development
Additional Qualifications
5+ years of SDET experience with proficiency in C++/C or C#
Minimum 2+ years of management experience at Microsoft
Proven API/UX test lead experience
Excellent communicator, capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal/external teams
Experience planning, designing, costing and scheduling testing for an area
Software development experience on video/audio/mobile/UX technologies is desirable.
Outstanding leadership skills and good strategic thinking
Great problem solving skills and high intellectual horsepower
Strong passion for media and entertainment
Excellent written and verbal communication and cross group collaboration skills
A BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering and/or equivalent industry experience is preferred
