Microsoft Game Studios' Halo team is looking for a solid developer to help develop a new game in the Halo universe. Work on one of the most exciting and creative intellectual properties in the industry; we are gathering an incredible team to help drive the future of Halo.
As a Game Engineer, you will aid the development team to deliver high quality features and tools to the art and design teams. You will work closely with an area lead to help extend the engine to better support your owned feature set.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Game Engineer on the MGS Halo team, you will work directly with your areas lead to implement your code into the engine to support the needs of the game team. You will participate in schedule and prioritization of your features.
Deliver feature code in a timely fashion
Build within the engine systems and help extend them
Fully debug and own your sections of code
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
At least 2 years of C/C++ professional or educational experience (C# is a plus)
Understanding of a large development team process
A strong math background
An amazing passion for creating games
Strong technical communication skills
BONUS SKILLS
Previous shipping games experience
Exposure to gameplay physics
Understanding of a tool pipeline/build system used in game creation.
