Location: Dallas, TX
The Field Service Engineer has the responsibility for troubleshooting and repairs of AC and DC drives and industrial electronics to the component level. Responsibility is for both field service (customer site) and shop service.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and repairs of AC and DC drives and industrial devices of all types
Designs, builds, installs and commissions electrical motor control systems.
Maintains positive relationships with customers.
Included in after hours service for an "on-call" rotation.
May require out-of-town travel.
Field service and field retrofit of obsolete industrial electrical/electronic equipment.

Must-have Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years successful experience as Field Service Engineer in a similar industry.
Ability to establish and maintain good customer relationships
Technical product knowledge in drives and industrial electronics
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment down to the component level
Ability to utilize oscilloscopes, electrical meters and monitoring equipment which are typically necessary to troubleshoot and analyze electrical and electronic devices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) Year Technical Degree in Electronics or similar is highly preferred.
Previous field service with adjustable speed drives, PLCs and industrial automation products is highly preferred.
Ability to understand the operation and potentially program industrial products line PLC's, HMI's, and industrial network products is preferred.
