Patient Care Assistant, Rehab (FT, Eves)

Job Description:
Description
Performs specific non-licensed or non-professional duties of patient care under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. The North Hills Hospital staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric through adolescence. The attached criteria based performance evaluation provides a specific set of standards as they relate to age specific competency.
Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School graduate or GED.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least 6 months patient care experience in at least 2 of the following areas: CNA., EMT, PCA, Paramedic, nursing home, hospital, or equivalent experience.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communications, customer service, math, analysis, reading, following instruction, basic computer usage.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Current BLS certification
Current CNA or Medical Assistant required.
