* Responsible for schedule, financial and technical management of GE standard power plants.
* Manage business buy-in: product line leaders, technical managers, ITO organization, support ITO training of partners.
* Develop scope and determine resources required.
* Drive out both cost and schedule while still meeting plant performance needs.
* Support the PPE Project Engineer to schedule and manage engineering activities and budgets.
* Provide technical and commercial leadership for project team.
* Interface with Engineering firms coordinating work scope, schedule, deliverables and budget.
* Manage / prepare the required engineering request for quotes and manage / prepare the engineering contract.
* Exercise independent judgment and decision making over project operations.
* Provide the vision for the standard offering scheme and long-term plan in support of the Product Line Leaders plan.
* Obtain and manage funding for work scope.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional organizations.
* Own and drive the CTQ for reduced on site labor hours.
* Own and drive the CTQ for Return on Investment.

Qualifications
* BS Degree in Engineering (4 year degree) (4 year degree in science such as physics could be considered if all other requirements are met).
* 7+ years of experience in power plant design and construction.
* Minimum of 1 year experience directing multi-discipline engineering teams.
* Minimum of 1 year experience obtaining and managing Engineering firms outside the US.
Desired
* MS degree in Engineering.
* Registered PE (US only).
* MBA.
* 5+ years of management experience in power plant design and construction.
* 5+ years of Architect / Engineer experience in power plant design and construction.
* Experience in technical proposal preparation.
* Fluent in Spanish and / or French.
* High energy, excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Green belt / Black Belt certification (GE employees only).
* Demonstrated ability in meeting cost, schedule and technical commitments.
* Exposure to GE NPI methodology (GE Employees only).
* Knowledge of GE Energy Tollgate process (GE Employees only).
