Currently, CIM is looking for qualified candidates for the position of Manager, Advertising Operations within the Comcast.net business unit.
The Manager will be an integral member of Comcast.net's Advertising Operations group, charged with maintaining direct, hands-on responsibility for the execution of online advertising initiatives for the Comcast Interactive Media division. This person will work with the Senior Manager of Advertising Technology & Development and the Executive Director of Strategy & Business Operations to achieve overall business goals.
This role's specific responsibilities will include:
Manage a team of online ad traffickers ensuring on-time delivery of business goals.
Schedule display campaigns in the ad serving systems as needed.
Troubleshoot, clarify and escalate business challenges to senior team or site operations leadership for timely and accurate resolution.
Manage routine reporting needs for internal and external stakeholders.
Provide senior management with weekly/monthly/quarterly feedback on advertising performance and recommendations for improvement.
Maintain a clear understanding of all ad campaigns and ensure that all campaigns are running according to client specifications.
Act as the primary client liaison to all customers (internal or external) regarding their technical requirements including explanation, clarification, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Attend new partner meetings with the intention of extracting information necessary to ensure a successful partnership including setting up logins, defining escalation processes, etc.
Coordinate with other departments on project development issues
To be successful in this position you will have:
Bachelors degree
5+ years experience working in online ad operations, with 2 years being in a supervisory role
Experience with one or more Internet ad serving systems (24/7 Real Media, DART, Atlas/Accipiter, etc.)
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a thorough understanding of how websites operate including (but not limited to): Front-end coding, Content Management, Design/Layout, Scripting, Video, Third-Party Technologies, and Ad Serving.
Experience with graphics software including Adobe Photoshop and Flash for the purpose of troubleshooting and resizing graphics when necessary
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience with MS Office programs
Effective communication and client service skills
Experience with rich media ad formats a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently and take on increasing levels of responsibility
