Position Description
This position is to support Boeings Weapons System Operations and Sustainment (WSOPS) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) organizations proposal preparation effort for the upcoming Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) contract re-compete for Operations and Sustainment (O&S). Previous operations support experience with GMD is essential. Previous experience with proposal writing is highly desirable. This position will ensure that all aspects of operations and operations support for the current GMD Program contract are included in the contract proposal and accurately reflect how Boeing executes operations and operations support. Individual must have familiarity with Performance Based Logistics (PBL) as executed within the Boeing Company and the impacts this will have on executing operations support. Close and continuous coordination with all elements of Boeings current GMD operations support community will be required. Individual will be responsible for writing Basis of Estimates (BOE), Statement of Work (SOW), Bill of Material (BOM), Base Support Requirements List (BSRL), etc. to satisfy operations support requirements in support of the proposal effort. Daily coordination with O&M sites will be required. Individual must be able to work independently and with little guidance. Briefing and writing skills will be critical.

Education and/or Experience
