Position Description
US Person status required. Manages, staffs and directs the PHL Support Systems Supply Chain Asset Management Group for all rotorcraft programs. Has direct influence upon people, budget, business processes, systems/tools and performance execution. As a member of the PHL Support Systems Supply Chain Management Leadership Team, the candidate must lead a diverse group, motivate to achieve results, display strong communication and presentation skills with direct reports, with management peers, with multiple integrated logistics programs and with external customers. Must display business acumen for quality, cost, schedule, business planning and material management. Position requires knowledge and experience in military supply support environment including asset/item management, supply chain decision tools, complex supply chain scenarios across world-wide operational sites, managing multiple repair echelons, multiple level of indenture for assemblies and sub-assemblies and supporting multiple configurations. Need to develop and execute disciplined supply chain asset management business processes and support implementation of enabling systems/tools to minimize the risk of uncertainty in demands and to optimize stock levels to ensure best value with limited budget. Oversees asset management group for execution in transactional business model and for performance based logistics (PBL) business model. This includes analysis, planning and inventory control of company-owned and contract material, physical logistics & warehousing processes and policies, requirements review and material allocation across multi echelon supply networks, integration of bills of material and resources to manage customer demands and respond to status requests to maintain effective stocking levels within cost to maximize customer readiness and contract performance measures. Ability to support new business campaigns and proposal development by supporting/developing material and labor cost estimates, leveraging effective business processes, identifying appropriate systems/tools and developing innovative solutions to complex customer supply chain requirements.

Education and/or Experience
Prefer a bachelor's degree in a technical field or vocational or military training and typically at least 8 to 12 years experience in support of aerospace products.

Other Job related information
Strong flexibility for travel is a requirement. Prefer military supply support knowledge, education or experience.
