Job Title Fall/Spr CQA Chemist Intern 2008
External Job Description Perform standard qualitative and quantitative analysis on: purchased raw materials, bulk and in-process products, and finished pharmaceutical preparations utilizing accepted procedures. Utilize problem-solving techniques as needed. Write reports as required. Utilize standard analytical and safety techniques as well as instrumentation such as: UV-VIS Spectrophotometers, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, Polarimeter, IR and FTIR Spectrophotometer, Automatic Titrator, Karl Fischer Apparatus, pH Meters.
Skills/Experience Education/Certification Requires high school diploma and working on an Associate's or Bachelor's degree. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential. Computer experience (Access, Excel, Word) helpful but not required. Satisfactory performance and attendance is required.
