John Deere Credit is looking for a Settlement Auditor I in our Wholesale Department to act as the primary interface to Dealers/Distributors regarding billing and payment issues on the accounts. Responsibilities include:
Acts as the primary interface to Dealers/Distributors regarding billing and payment issues on the accounts.
Audits Dealer settlements and reports discrepancies to appropriate individuals.
Audits dealer/distributor settlements based on published guidelines and policies.
Verifies appropriate supporting documentation for credits, including floor plans, retail notes or leases, incentive bonuses, and rentals.
Follows-up on discrepancies identified in the settlement or inventory verification processes and/or various audit reports.
Responds to dealer/distributor requests for information and support related to systems, dealer statements, wholesale finance terms, and incentive programs.
Identifies and communicates potential credit concerns to the credit group.
Skills
Understanding of the Accounting fundamentals, such as debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgets, etc.
Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Education
Degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience
Experience working in the finance industry.
