Position : e-Commerce Performance Optimization & Compliance Lead - Digital - 035439

Description :

What's IT like at Nike? Some things are a given. Like getting to work with the latest applications and technology. And being surrounded by full-time colleagues, not just consultants and hired guns. Around here, you'll push your colleagues to do their best work, and they'll turn around and do the same for you. At the end of the day what matters is being able to use the best technologies to help a great company perform even better.

IT at Nike is over 900 professionals working on the most advanced business applications and e-commerce capabilities in the industry. For instance, our ERP utilizes SAP and Siebel, with SeeBeyond ICAN/e*Gate as the integration layer for all our Supply Chain applications. And that's just one example of the dozens of upgrades and improvements currently underway.

As our e-Commerce Performance Optimization & Compliance Lead for Nike.com, you'll be responsible for providing leadership, vision and direction for our Digital Commerce websites. You'll define, plan and execute a comprehensive performance monitoring and management system. You'll also incorporate ownership for the implementation of advanced security practices as required in a volume global e-commerce platform. Based on business and IT goals, you'll be responsible for collaborating with vendors, IT and Business team members to analyze the business requirements for performance, and translating goals and objectives into performance-driven initiatives and projects. You'll be looked to as a subject matter expert to propose solutions by providing functional expertise and deep knowledge of performance and security issues as they relate to complex e-commerce systems. You'll also leverage your knowledge of security risks associated with e-commerce to provide strategies on how to overcome these vulnerabilities and create a strategic plan to ensure Nike is both safe and compliant. You'll acquire a broad knowledge of Nike and our business practices, including how they are integrated across divisions in relation to IT and systems. Furthermore, you'll leverage this knowledge as well as your background in IT project management implementation and support in order to assist in the creation of high-performing e-commerce systems. You'll be responsible for disseminating performance information as it relates to existing and future ecommerce platforms and functionality. You'll be responsible for the creation of an information center aimed at providing real-time metrics to a broad audience within Nike as well as to relevant vendors. In addition, you'll ensure that we deliver world-class solutions to drive Nike's Digital Commerce business into the future, a role which will be especially important as Nike continues to expand geographically.

Requirements for the position include:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field

- 6 years' professional experience as a Technical Consultant, Architect, or Software Development Engineer

- 2 years' additional relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree

- 1 year experience in a lead or supervisory role

- Experience with e-commerce systems and processes

- Strong technical knowledge including experience in highly scalable e-commerce platforms, and the associated issues to ensure they are optimal in performance

- Knowledge of security risks associated with e-commerce

- Experience with analysis and strategic problem solving at a detailed level

- Experience managing projects spanning multiple IT & business organizations

- Full lifecycle implementation experience preferred

- Proven experience in working in and leading virtual teams

- Excellent communication and influencing skills

- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

- Ability to speak to various levels of the business community in non-technical terms
