John Deere Construction & Forestry Division at Dubuque Works is seeking a Dealer Marketing Assistance (DMAC) Specialist to be part of the DMAC team that provides information, recommendations, or solutions to dealer inquiries regarding John Deere Construction Equipment and North American Hitachi products. In this position you will:
Be primary contact for the Excavators and ADT's.
Support the bid or sale of Deere and Hitachi products and relate to design, specifications, and how to properly configure and apply machines to customer specific applications.
Prioritize and provide accurate and detailed responses to inquiries in a timely manner to dealership and company personnel regarding bid specifications, machine applications, etc.
Share responsibility for responding to customer inquiries or issues that are received via the Deere C&F public website or via phone in a timely and effective manner.
Author accurate and detailed DMAC solutions for future reference.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering/Technology, Business Management/Administration, Marketing or Ag Sciences discipline highly preferred or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Demonstrated technical knowledge and understanding of basic hydraulic, powertrain, and electrical systems.
A good understanding of typical job applications for Deere and Hitachi Construction and Forestry equipment is required.
Must have good oral and written communication skills, and be able to professionally and courteously handle phone calls from dissatisfied customers.
Very good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Demonstrates ability to be a self starter and work with minimal supervision to complete projects and tasks in a timely manner.
Demonstrates leadership, self-motivation, and initiative.
Desired Skills and Experience
Understanding of an Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP).
Understanding of Deere product specification systems desirable.
Understanding of the DTAC case management and solution authoring system.
Willingness to travel.
