Summary: Develop financial reports, performance measurements and models; synthesize output into meaningful summary to drive management decisions.
Actively participate in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting; process, interpret, analyze and present financial results; recognize, investigate and explain fluctuations and trends. (50%)
Perform tactical and strategic analysis through financial modeling. Examples may include: product pricing and profitability; capital/technology investments; business line valuations (growth vs. exit strategies); asset origination (portfolio vs. sales/securitization); liability origination strategies; long-term profitability outlook; risk mitigation strategies; loan/deposit portfolio behavior analysis; integration analysis; capital allocation; transfer pricing methodologies; cost methodologies; asset/liability analyses; interest rate risk (30%)
Identify and implement revenue and cost opportunities to ensure continued success of business line and Corporation. (10%)
Assist with development of business cases for business line projects of medium complexity. (10%)
Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred; 5+ years experience preferred. Proficiency in model building and scenario analysis; knowledge of NCC tools, databases and systems to quickly obtain information; broad knowledge of banking industry products and metrics; knowledge of Essbase and Microsoft products; organized written and oral communication skills; ability to adapt to change (exhibit flexibility); ability to develop key interpersonal relationships; exhibit leadership qualities
